ABOUT THE PLAY
The Falcon’s Eye opens its twelfth season with William Shakespeare’s Macbeth. Driven to bloody deeds by their lust for power, Macbeth and his Lady fight to hold on to their sanity and to each other by any means necessary. Shakespeare’s tragedy is an unrelenting examination of the dark side of humanity.
Open Monologue Auditions
Monday September 10th, 2018 6:30pm-9:30pm
If you have performed in a Falcon’s Eye Theatre production in the past, you may skip the required open monologue audition. Please use the same link to make an appointment for callbacks on Tuesday September 11th at 6:30 pm for readings and callbacks.
We will be contacting you to confirm your audition appointment in the days leading up to auditions.

AUDITIONS will take place in the DRAMA LAB (PAC-1170) on the Folsom campus of Folsom Lake College, 10 College Parkway (off E. Bidwell St.), Folsom,CA 95630.
Two dollar parking permits are available at kiosks located throughout the parking lots.
WHAT TO PREPARE
OPEN MONOLOGUE AUDITION
You MUST prepare a monologue that is no more than 60 seconds long from any play by William Shakespeare. This monologue should best portray the actor's strengths and can be of any genre. The monologue must be memorized.
Those who are called back will be given readings from the text. Therefore it is advised to be familiar with the play of Macbeth.
HEADSHOT AND RESUME
These are requested, though not required. Bring 8x10 headshot and a resume outlining training and acting experience.
Thanks to all that auditioned. I wanted to cast everyone, but we just can't. We are very grateful so many wonderful people came out to offer their talents. For those we didn't cast, we really did love you so please come back for the next show in the spring, Alice in Wonderland. For those we did cast, we will see you Monday night at 6:30 in the Drama Lab. Some roles will be doubled, hence the use of "ens." Please bring a pencil and your Los Rios student ID if you have one. Also bring your calendar, as we will be reviewing dates. We are using the Arden 3rd edition Macbeth that is available in the bookstore at FLC or on Amazon. Bring a script to read from. Thank you!

REHEARSAL and PERFORMANCE DATES
September 17 through October 25, 2018. Rehearsal times might include weeknights and weekends. Minor conflicts with these dates are permissible. Be prepared to provide your complete calendar of availability at the first audition. Tech/Dress Rehearsals are from October 26 through November 1, 2018. No conflicts are permissible with these dates.
November 2 through 18. Performance calendar will include Thursday nights, Friday mornings, weekend days and nights.
Performances will be held in Stage Two at the Harris Center at Folsom Lake College.
